WHO CAN TAKE THIS COURSE?

This specialized training will assist you in working with clients that specifically have issues relating to anger and stress. Anger management is not psychotherapy; therefore, most clinicians are not properly trained to work with such clients. Our certification is ideal for educators, clinicians, parole, probation and correctional officers, clergy, substance abuse and domestic violence counselors, human resource managers and anyone who wants or needs to work, helping clients with anger related problems. The course is ideal for candidates who want to specialize in helping clients to manage stress, counselors who are experiencing the effects of clients stress during the course of counseling. This course is also recommended for those who wish to understand how to effectively manage stress especially in this part of the world characterized with a lot of hustle and bustle that could result to health problems in the long run. This course is highly suitable for corporate organizations who wish to maximize the efficiency of their staff.
This course is very important for counselors who wish to be trainers and coaches in various fields, the course gives useful, informative and practical insights into stress; what causes it, how it can be overcome and how to avoid it. Stress is examined from psychological, social and occupational perspectives. Effective strategies and exercises are presented which can be adapted to meet a wide range of needs.

This course contains 10 modules of detailed explanation on how to help clients manage stress and anger successfully. The course contains various short practical exercises and case study assignments. This course will be completed within one(1) month for Full-Time, three(3) months for Part-Time studies and expected to be completed between three to five months for Online/Distance Learning.

PRIVATE PRACTICE

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
In addition to the accredited certificate given by the institution, students will also be awarded with CPD certificate. In order to start a private practice as a professional in this field of counseling, candidates are expected to combine this with the Certificate in Counseling course to get a Diploma in Stress and Anger Management.
