Who can take this course?
If you have always aspired to help people and wish to become a counselor in any field, this course is for you. This is an introductory counseling course for those who wish to be counselors. It is for everyone who has a passion for counseling and wishes to take it further to the professional level.
A certificate in counseling is compulsory for everyone who wishes to take a career in counseling, it is your first step to achieving your dream. This course will help you in understanding the concept of counseling before specializing in your chosen field of counseling practice.
Upon completion of this course, you get a Professional certificate accredited by the Association for Counseling, Matchmaking, and Psychotherapy of Nigeria (ACMPN – www.acmpn.org.ng) and you may apply to join the association as an Associate Member.

Private Practice
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
In addition to the accredited certificate given by the Institution, students will also be awarded a CPD certificate. In order to start a private practice as a professional in this field of counseling, candidates are expected to combine this with another certificate course in their chosen counseling field.
