Pastor Wale Adefarasin

Pastor Wale Adefarasin is the General Overseer of Guiding Light Assembly, Park View Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. In the last twenty years, he has devoted his life to the work of God within and outside Nigeria. He strongly believes in the corporate existence of our country, Nigeria. He teaches the importance of being a light to the world by living exemplary lives worthy of emulation and is convinced that the lost are more likely to respond to Jesus through our lives than through our preaching and the doctrines we teach.

He is a strong believer in Nigeria with a viable economy governed by transparent leaders. He is a social entrepreneur, international speaker, TV presenter, and respected thought leader. He is the Senior Pastor of Guiding Light Assembly, a multi-ministry, non-denominational church with branches in Lagos, Abuja, and London. He is also the General Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, the Governing Apostle of the Nigeria Coalition of Apostles, an affiliate of the International Coalition of Apostles and leads a number of pastors’ networks. One of his greatest passions is to see the transformation of Nigeria into the country that God has blessed her to be.

Dr. Olufunso Amosun

Dr. Mrs. Olufunso Amosun is highly skilled and talented in public relations and management, with several years of demonstrated success in improving brand images. She is an accomplished strategist in philanthropic campaigns, with a wealth of experience implementing and executing initiatives through creative planning. Educational Background: HKB Certification Global Change Leadership Harvard Boston 2016, Doctorate Degree ( Honorary) D.SC Environmental Management Novena University Delta State

Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago

Mohammed Umar Bago (born 22 February 1974) is a Nigerian politician. He was born in Minna, Niger State, to a Nupe family, He is a member of parliament for Chanchaga, Federal Constituency. He ran in the 9th National Assembly, contesting for Speaker House of Representatives of Nigeria. He came second to Femi Gbajabiamila. Umar Bago attended Marafa Primary School, Minna, and Federal Government College, Jos. He earned his West Africa School Certificate from the WAEC. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto. Bago has obtained several postgraduate diplomas and master’s degrees, including a postgraduate diploma in management from the Federal University of Technology Minna in 2001, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in economics at the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, in 2003, and a master’s degree in finance at the University of Calabar in 2005. He is also a distinguished alumnus of Cambridge University in the United Kingdom in 2014. 

Bago worked with the United Bank for Africa (UBA), First City Monument Bank (FCMB), and Afri-Bank PLC respectively. He serves as a manager at First City Monument Bank. In 2007 he entered politics. He chairs the House Committee on Maritime Safety, Education, and Administration. In 2016 he advised the management of the Maritime Commission that 83 staff should be sacked. He stated, “That is how touts are employed. He urged the Nimasa to spend money wisely in a well and prepared process. Bago is married with children. To improve the educational quality of his constituency, he bought 1000 forms of JAMB for his people. And also distributed 11 trailer loads of rice to his constituency as a palliative during the Covid-19 pandemic period.

Mr Ebose Augustine Osegha

Augustine Ebose is currently the Managing Director of Anchor Insurance Company Limited. Augustine started his working career with Erikana Nigeria Limited from 2000 to 2001 as a Marketing Officer engaged in the sales of the company’s products. Thereafter, he moved to Alliance & General Insurance Company Limited where he served in various capacities from 2001 to 2004 he joined as an Executive and rose to the position of Branch Manager due to his productive contributions to the growth of the company with his responsibilities covering clientele servicing, special risk marketing with an emphasis on oil & gas, corporate and product development and general administration of the branch. He has worked in Capital Express General Insurance Company Limited as a Manager to develop the Public Sector, Oil & Gas segment by identifying and developing strategies to deepen the Company’s market share and Standard Alliance Insurance Company Plc from November 2006. Here, he garnered extensive experience and created a niche for himself in the market. In 2008, he was elevated to Assistant General Manager/Divisional Head, Public Sector, Energy & Telecoms, and rose to the position of General Manager/Divisional Head, North & South-West regions overseeing Public Sector, Energy, technical and Emerging Markets as a result of his outstanding results and expansion of these portfolios.

He left the service of the company in December 2016 to join Anchor Insurance Company Limited as Executive Director, Business Development and Marketing. Augustine is a graduate of Delta State University, Abraka, and the University of Ado -Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti where he obtained a B.Sc (Economics) and MBA (Business Administration) respectively. He is awaiting his formal graduation for a Doctorate Degree in Business Management from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom. He is a member of several professional associations amongst which are the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS); and has attended courses and seminars locally and overseas among which are Executive Management course at the Lagos Business School and ManagementCourse for CEOs at South African Academy of Learning, Pretoria. He is happily married with children.

Dr. David Tola-Winjobi

David Tola Winjobi is a human rights activist, a seasoned trainer of trainers, a gender analyst, a community development consultant, an in-depth researcher, and a conflict manager. He possesses the following qualifications: B.A. Ed. English (1986); M.Ed Counselling Psychology (1989); M.A. Peace and Conflict Studies (2006), and Ph.D. Psychology (gender rights,1999).

Dr. Winjobi is a Fellow, Human Rights Learning Alliances, Fundar Center of Analysis, Mexico, and Centre on Democracy Development and the Rule of Law, Stanford University, USA. He is also the CSOs Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) African Representative. He is also an Executive Member, Emerging Scholars, and Practitioners in Migration Issues Network, Canada. 

Tola has won many awards including the 2013 Diocesan Silver Award in recognition of his dedication and unflinching support to the development of Ibadan South Diocese (Anglican Communion); Men of Impacts (MOI) Award 2017 by AGIS Project 2017; 2017 Award in recognition for his Invaluable Contribution to the Struggle for the Reduction of Disaster Risk in Africa and the World by AJELEC, Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast; Distinguished Leadership award in recognition of his Distinguished Leadership Qualities and Outstanding Contributions to Civil Society Group and Sustenance of Democracy, March 2018.

Dr. Michael Pinder

Michael Christopher Pinder is an experienced and accomplished hotelier. Born on 12th June 1961 in London, United Kingdom, he attended North Brook Polytechnic where he obtained his City and Guilds 706/1/2, 707/1/2 and the 751 courses in communication and Royal Institute of Health and Hygiene. Among his academic qualifications are, Degree of Teaching and an MBA from Mt Gravatt, university in Australia, The Savoy Hotel London Bar Service Course, Grant of St James Diploma in Wine, Beer and Cellar Management.

Michael has also attended and completed the prestigious Hotel and training companies course on Internal Verifiers, Assessor skills, Coaching for Credits and the Advanced Assessor Skills program, NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. In 2010 Michael gained his 1st Ph.D. in Human resources and is at the moment studying for his Ph.D. in Hospitality Psychology. Michael has been awarded the Hospitality Plus Red Bow Tie award twice in a row for outstanding contribution to training in the Hospitality industry. In 2017 Michael was awarded “one of the top 100 hospitality personalities in West Africa”.

Dr. Lekan Ajisafe

Lekan graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos with a BSc (Hons) in Insurance. He has a master’s degree from London Graduate School UK and also an Honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Commonwealth University. He has over 20 years of experience in oil and gas, aviation, insurance, and general risk.

He is currently the Executive Vice Chairman of Post Assurance Brokers Limited an insurance broking firm of repute in Nigeria specialized in risk management within the aviation, energy, oil, and gas sector.

Prior to joining POST Assurance Brokers Limited, Lekan worked at various organizations, including Elmac Assurance Ltd, Gold Link Insurance Plc, and First Guaranty Risk Solutions, where he was Head of Business Development and was instrumental in turning around the fortunes of the company. He later joined Capstone Insurance Brokers as Managing Director/CEO, helping to turn the company into a profit-making organization for the period he was at the helm. Lekan left Capstone Insurance Brokers in the year 2012 to join forces with the new management at POST Assurance Brokers.

Dr. Laila Jean St. Matthew-Daniel

After over 35 years in the field of administration and management, the discovery that people with great destinies pursue the wrong profession or lifestyle, but don’t have the correct channel to guide them began Dr. Jean’s journey into the field of counseling and guidance. She deals with issues from the spiritual, soul and body angle because all are interconnected. A Minister of God, certified Life Coach/Psychologist, Neuro-Linguistic Programmer, and Emotions Therapist, Dr. Jean mentors, tutors, trains, and counsels people from all parts of the world. 

Her work has also taken her into the field of gender activities as a Visionary of an NGO called, ACTS Generation, which empowers both genders, but especially the female gender, with a focus on domestic violence and abuse. Dr. Jean runs various programs and workshops to empower people on emotional intelligence, self-mastery, and self-development skills to enable them to deal with issues of life. She had her graduate studies in the UK, Metropolitan University, and also, over the years, attained a Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Humanities (hc).

Lawrence Murphy

Lawrence Murphy is the founder of Worldwide Therapy Online, the world’s first online clinical practice, which he established in 1994. Mr. Murphy is considered amongst the world’s foremost experts in the field. In collaboration with the National Board for Certified Counselors, he authored the first ethical code for online counselling. Through Therapy Online’s Research Institute, Lawrence and his colleagues publish regularly in the academic literature, including their seminal 1998 work When Writing Helps to Heal: Email as Therapy, which has been cited more than 350 times in the academic literature. Therapy Online delivers two levels of post-graduate training in cyber counseling and licenses software to individuals, agencies, and institutions keen to deliver services online.

And, since the pandemic began, Mr. Murphy has delivered more than 100 half-day training to a total of more than 12,000 mental health professionals across Canada. He is also a sought-after presenter for conferences and congresses around the globe. Lawrence received his MA in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 1995. He teaches in the Department of Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University and in the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Tolulope Oko-Igaire (Executive Director)

The Fixer, Dr. Tolulope Oko-Igaire is one of Africa’s Foremost Sex Therapists and Professional Mental Health Practitioners. A Clinical Counselor with demonstrated experience in Depression Treatment, PTSD Counseling, Human Sexuality, and Dysfunctional Behavioral Treatment. Also, a leading Gestalt, CBT, and Psychodynamic expert with specializations in Personality Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, and Family Dynamics.

Experience and professionalism distinguished Dr. Tolu in an environment where professional Counseling is non-existing and discussing Mental and Sexual Health issues is considered taboo. She singlehandedly took Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy from the backward traditional level to a more professional forefront, blending Counseling skills and ethical values. With hundreds of articles and publications to her credit, Dr. Tolu has worked with various Multinationals, Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations across Africa in various capacities. As a volunteer, Speaker, and Facilitator on Mental Health Issues.

Originally, A university of Port Harcourt Social scientist graduate, at a Master’s level, Dr. Tolu is an alumnus of The International Institute of Counseling United Kingdom. With years of research work, an Advanced Diploma, and extensive training in specialized fields of Mental Health Counseling like Grief and Bereavement, Crisis, Child & Adolescent, and Couples & Family Counseling, she is a United States certified human sexuality specialist. Dr. Tolu has an honorary doctorate degree in counseling from The Development Institute of Counseling United States.

She is currently the President of The Association for Counseling, Matchmaking & Psychotherapy of Nigeria ACMPN and a member of numerous International Counseling & Psychotherapy organizations. Dr. Tolu prides herself on being up to date with the most recent scientific literature surrounding Mental Health Counseling and Human Sexuality. She is currently rounding up her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texilla American University as well as a Ph.D. in Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology Florida. Dr. Tolu has received numerous awards both in Nigeria and abroad and is currently The Executive Director of The Institute of Counseling in Nigeria.
