Who can take this course?

Most people who enter couples counseling have already tried many methods of resolution. Some couples arrive in therapy with one partner dragging the other, some are on the brink of divorce, and others are trying to recover from an affair. Couples typically appear with entrenched arguments, unhealthy power dynamics, and painful histories. In this context, the therapist’s job is to help couples find clarity, productive communication, a shared vision, and a way to move forward without blaming each other for the mess they’ve developed. In a generation plague with so much negative happenings in the area of relationship and marriage, taking a certificate in this course will help candidate to come out as an expert to start his/her own practice.

This course contains 10 modules of detailed explanation on being relationship and marriage counselor. At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to help couples and individual going through different relationship and emotional crisis. The course contains various short practicals exercises and case study assignments. This course will be completed within one months for Full-Time, three months for Part-Time studies, while Online/Distance students have extra two months advantage.

Private Practice

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)

In addition to the accredited certificate given by the institution, students will also be awarded with CPD certificate. In order to start a private practice as a professional in this field of counseling, candidates are expected to combine this with the Certificate in Counseling course to get a Diploma in Relationship, Marriage and Family Counseling.
