Diploma in Crisis Counseling

Who can take this course?

If you are passionate about helping people in crisis or you are already a practicing counselor or someone already working in the helping field, this course is for you. With this course you can counsel people going through certain crisis in their lives, like depression, divorce, illness etc. This course is also useful for individuals who wish to help people in times when professional help are not readily available.

Course Info

This course contains 20 modules of detailed explanation on being a Crisis Counselor or a helper in time of crisis. This will give you the required knowledge needed to be able to counsel people in crisis in order for them to have their lives back. The course contains various short practical exercises and case study assignments. This course will be completed within three (3) months for Full- Time, six(6) months for Part-Time and expected to be completed between six to nine months for Online/Distance Learning.

Timetable

Online Learning for certificate courses is very flexible to meet the needs of very individuals. Student are expected to round off their studies within 6 to 9 months.

Cost

Online/Distance Learning Diploma courses are $2,400/N700,000. This can be paid once, twice or four time installments.

Private Practice

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)

In addition to the accredited diploma given by the institution, students will also be awarded with CPD certificate. This is a professional diploma course that is made up of the combination of Certificate in Counseling and Certificate in Crisis Counseling.
