Who can take this course?

Most people who enter Couples Counseling have already tried many methods of resolution. Some couples arrive in therapy with one partner dragging the other, some are on the brink of divorce, and others are trying to recover from an affair. Couples typically appear with entrenched arguments, unhealthy power dynamics, and painful histories. In this context, the therapist’s job is to help couples find clarity, productive communication, a shared vision, and a way to move forward without blaming each other for the mess they have developed. In a generation plagued with so much negative happenings in the area of relationship and marriage, taking a diploma in this course will help candidate come out as an expert to start his/her own practice.

This course contains 20 modules of detailed explanation on what it takes to counsel clients on relationship, marital and family issues. It will help you to find your feet in dealing with clients who have these issues in the society. If you have passion for family life, this course is just for you. The course contains various short practical exercises and case study assignments. The course will be completed within three (3) months for Full-Time, six (6) months for Part-Time and expected to be completed between 6 to 9 months for Online/Distance Learning.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)

In addition to the accredited diploma given by the Institution, students will also be awarded with CPD certificate. This is a professional diploma course that is made up of the combination of Certificate in Counseling and Certificate in Relationship, Couple & Family Counseling.
